 Anthony
Fauci, MD, is Director of the Institute (NIAID) at the National
Institutes of Health that gets $2.9 billion in funding for HIV/AIDS. Dr.
Fauci has direct control over those funds, which come directly from
Congress and are not capable of being altered by Dr. Fauci's boss,
Zerhouni, MD, who is Director of the entire NIH. To hear Dr. Fauci make
out case for recognition of the great success against HIV and
redistribution of a significant portion of HIV funding to other
illnesses, watch this very

The Traditional Values Coalition is urging lawmakers to take
a closer look at which
scientific studies receive federal grants from the National
Institutes of Health. The
reason -- the studies all look at issues involving
the funding of hundreds of
questionable "scientific" studies involving AIDS research.
