We present a few pictures of the dozens upon dozens of American Diabetes
Association (ADA)
Expo attendees who joined FAIR at our Tampa, Florida exhibit booth 10/6/07,
and we join
with all exhibitors in being most grateful to Tampa Bay's ADA
Director, Ken Gibson, for the
commendable manner in which he handled the exhibitors and thousands of attendees.
We profile and give special recognition to Michele Laine, seen here with
her husband Jeff and
son Joshua. Why? Michele is one of our unsung heroes--organ transplant
coordinators who work
tirelessly throughout nights speaking to donor families under very
difficult circumstances in
hospitals, followed by her matching the organs of that donor with the
needs of the dying patient.
Michele helped save many lives in California and now lives in Tarpon
Springs, Florida where
she is desirous of helping Florida's patients. If you know of someone in
need of a highly skilled
transplant coordinator, certified family nurse practitioner, or diabetes
educator & instructor
