patient. Dr. Silvestre
organized the events and was named Chair of the CA Hepatitis Alliance, an
organization
consisting of CA hepatitis groups dedicated to improving the services and
treatment available
for HCV patients. There was no mention in the first Newsletter of the
need for more research
to develop better drugs for HCV patients.
