Jerry Jackson is the FAIR Foundation's Director of Information Services for new organ-donor policies to reverse America's organ-donor crisis of 99,400+ waiting for an organ. It is alarming that one of them, or one who was on the list but was removed because he/she was too sick, dies every hour. The present policy of altruism is failing badly in meeting the demand for organs.

At a Transplant Recipients International Organization (TRIO) event in which he was a presenter, Dr. Darling met Jerry, a passionate organ-donor advocate, who has volunteered to meet with California legislators to promote these new organ-donor policies. Jerry teamed up with producer Dan Brumett to produce one of the most powerful organ-donor videos we've ever seen. It tells the story of both Jerry's life-saving liver transplant and of young Jimmy Younger who is dying of liver failure and their collective effort to promote organ donation--a video that encompasses various states, churches, coliseums, and more.
